The Regional Workshop on Statistics of International Trade in Services (SITS) was conducted virtually on 28-30 June 2021. The workshop is organised by ARISE Plus and the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEANstats) with the technical expert from EU, Mr.Simon Humpries.
The objective of the workshop to discuss the draft Methodological ASEAN Trade in Services Compilation Guide which focuses on Travel services, Freight and insurance services as well as ITS by partner country.
In this workshop, best practices of compiling certain service categories also been identified through ASEAN Member State (AMS) case studies. This workshop benefited the ASEAN Member State such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Singapore.
